The European project KNOW-IT has been completed within the planned timeline and the expected modalities. The obtained results include a methdology of proven validity, and a software prototype currently in use in consultancy activity for SMEs focusing in systematic innovation of their products and technology portfolio.Our research activity is currently focused on the continuous improvement of our innovation processes, and we are currently working on follow-up research projects that are closely related to and based on the theoretical and scientific KNOW-IT achievements. We are therefore constantly interested in building up a network of partnerships with SMEs and organizations that share our interest in the evolution of production processes. We are particularly interested in:
- Compiling a list of proposals and ideas for new functionalities to introduce in future versions of our IT-tool
- Building real world case studies to develop a framework for the evaluation of the efficiency and the results of the IT-tool
- Establishing partnerships with other subjects interested and/or already operative within TRIZ.
